League / Super Seniors
USTA Super Senior League -
Ages 60 and up – 3 Doubles lines. Men’s and Ladies
Combined Levels=6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0. If only one team at a level, they can
advance DIRECTLY to Sectionals (except 7.0, which requires 2 team local
league)! Midyear ratings do NOT apply. Sectionals on Nov. 11-13 at Newk’s in New Braunfels.
USTA 40 and up League (NEW in 2011!) - Players must be 40 years or older in
2011. 2 Doubles lines and 1 Singles. Men's and Ladies Levels = 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.
Must have at least a two-team league locally; play at least two matches to
be eligible to play at sectionals on Nov 18-20 in Austin (Live Music Capital
of the World!). Midyear Ratings apply. Approx. 5 week league starting week
of Oct. 10th (immediately after Combo league). Cost is $20. Matches at
6:30 pm as follows: 3.5 on Mondays; 4.0 on Tuesdays and 4.5 on Thursdays.

So when do we get a 39 and under league? Think it's only fair, if they are going to offer a super senior, seniors, and now 40 and above league they need to offer another league for younger players that excludes all players 40 years of age and above.
