USTA 40 and up League (NEW in 2011!)
Players must be 40 years or older in 2011. 2 Doubles lines and 1 Singles. Men's and Ladies Levels = 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Must have at least a two-team league locally; play at least two matches to be eligible to play at sectionals on Nov 18-20 in Austin (Live Music Capital of the World!). Midyear Ratings apply. Approx. 5 week league starting week of Oct. 10th (immediately after Combo league). Cost is $20. Matches at 6:30 pm as follows:
Mondays – 3.5 Men
Tuesdays - 4.0 Men & Women
Thursdays – 3.5 Women, 4.5 Men & Women
Sorry, no 3.0 level being offered for this event

USTA Tri-Level - The next USTA League, for ages 18-99, will be Tri-Level. I will send out another message as it gets closer but it should begin in mid-December and run through the end of Jan. Tri-Level is three lines of doubles and offered at two different team levels. Men’s and Ladies 3.0/3.5/4.0 and 3.5/4.0./4.5. Note: End of year ratings are expected to be published in late Nov and these will apply for this league.

i've never played league tennis before, but would like to start. how do i get "rated" and get put on a team. i played a little in jr college 25 yrs ago.
