Tennis - 40 & Over Mixed and 18 & Over Spring League - time to get signed up

40 & Over Mixed League:
Our 40 & Over Mixed League is getting ready to start and we are looking for some more players! The cost is $18.00.

The 7.0 Level will play on Sunday afternoons at 5 p.m. and hoping to start February 24th. If you have a team or want to play on a team - please contact me ASAP! We have 2 teams so far.

The 8.0 Level is hoping to play on Monday nights and/or Wednesday nights depending on court availability and also hope to start the week of February 24th. Let me know if you are interested. We have 2 teams so far.

The Sectional is June 7 - 9 in San Antonio.

18 & Over Spring League:
I know this is the one so many of you are waiting for. This league is scheduled to begin the week of March 18th and it's time to send me your USTA number to get a team number. The cost is $30.00 and consists of 2 lines of singles and 3 lines of doubles.

It is especially important for me to know who all has teams this year because we could be short on courts. Lamar University is in process of resurfacing their courts and may not be useable for part of our season.

Please email me ASAP if you know you have a team (some of you have already done that!) and also if you are looking for a team.

I hope to stick with our usual schedule: Mondays - 3.0 and 4.5, Tuesdays - 3.5, Thursdays - 4.0.

The Sectionals:  Lone Star, 2.5 - 3.5: August 2 - 4, Richardson, TX
                                               4.0 & UP: August 9 - 11, Dallas, TX

Little State:                                  Women:     August 9 - 11:     Corpus Christi
                                                             Men:    August 9 - 11:     Montgomery

New Players:
We are always looking for new players to the game and hope to start a beginner's class soon - please refer any potential new tennis players to me.

I am doing my best to not have an overlap in the leagues this year but sometimes we may not be able to avoid it. I will try to make it as few weeks as possible.

Thank you so much for all your patience this year with a new schedule of events and a shortage of courts - it is quite a challenge!

Suggestions are always welcome.
