Want to feel good? Donate either your time or money to a charity this holiday.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive” says it all.
We have dozens of worthy charity organizations in our area, including local churches.   Please consider giving.  Some local charitable organizations are:

Salvation Army - The Salvation Army in Beaumont usually serves approximately 73,000 hot meals in one year. During the response to Hurricane Rita, Salvation Army canteens served more than 410,000 hot meals in slightly over one month.

Some Other Place - S.O.P. is funded solely by donations from concerned people of local religious congregations, business and civic groups and individuals. They are staffed by hundreds of volunteers, and supported by a limited staff . . . people who are "putting their faith to work."

The ARC of Greater Beaumont - The Arc works to ensure that the estimated 7.2 million Americans with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities have the services and supports they need to grow, develop and live in communities across the nation. These services include early intervention, health care, a free appropriate public education and supports for their families.
